Sania Mirza, who hardly needs any introduction, is the most successful female athlete India has ever produced. Mirza got attracted towards Tennis at the age of six. Since then, she left no stone unturned to become a professional player. Finally, her dream came true when she turned a professional in 2003 by taking part in the Wimbledon Championships. She also went on to win the Junior Girls' Doubles title with Russian player Alisa Kleybanova in the same event.

The Tennis beauty has turned 31 today and EeYuva wishes her a wonderful birthday.

Sania is currently ranked 9th in the Women Doubles WTA rankings. The Hyderabadi star represented India in 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics

Australian Open was her first major appearance and she won the first two rounds of the event before facing defeat at the hands of the American great, Serena Williams, in the third round. Sania's best performance in singles came in 2005, where she reached the fourth round of the US Open
